Escape rooms are interactive, immersive entertainment experiences commonly enjoyed in groups. Players of an escape room can expect to spend approximately one hour inside a themed environment of their choosing. Groups will attempt to find clues, solve puzzles and work together as a team to complete their mission and escape!
No! Our escape rooms do not contain scary content or jump scare moments.
No! The door to the room will always remain unlocked. You are free to come and go from the room as you need, just know that the timer does not stop if you step out.
Not to worry! Your Game Host will be monitoring your progress throughout the experience by video and audio and you can ask for help at any time. Your Host is there to ensure you are pacing well throughout the game and will keep you moving in the right direction.
Our rooms are designed for up to 10 players but you are welcome to book as few as 2 tickets. We believe that escape rooms are best enjoyed in groups of 4-6.
We prefer to keep the secrets to our escape rooms truly secret so please don’t take photos or videos while you play. After your game we’re happy to take a photo of you and your group to help you capture the memories!
Your game will begin at the scheduled booking time. Escape rooms are live events (like a movie or a Broadway show). If you are more than 15 minutes late your reservation will be cancelled. If you wish you to reschedule your booking, we will assess a $25 rescheduling fee. No refunds or credit will be offered for late arrivals.
You are booking a live event so unfortunately we do not offer refunds. We will happily reschedule your game if you provide us with 48 hours advance notice. If you request to reschedule within 48 hours of your scheduled reservation, we assess a $25 rescheduling fee.

Just bring your brain, we provide anything else required for your experience.
It probably seems like a great idea to get TOTALLY WASTED and come rock out in an escape room but trust us, it doesn’t end well. After all, do you want to try to solve puzzles drunk? We’re happy to point you towards great local restaurants and bars once you escape.
Participants under the age of 16 are required to have a paying adult 18 or older accompany them during the experience.
Any person of any age who enters the game must have a signed waiver and a ticket.
Villa Pizzeria is our neighbor and has some of the BEST Italian dishes and pizza around! In our shopping center there is Jersey Mike’s and Chipotle. Other nearby food options on Route 35 include Chili’s, Houlihan’s, Texas Roadhouse, TGI Friday’s and Crumbl Cookies. A short drive away in Aberdeen is Alternate Ending Beer Company which has a delicious menu and beautiful beers, cocktails and spirits.
Advance reservations are strongly recommended to ensure you are able to book your preferred game and time. Walk-ins are welcome to book any available game at the time of arrival.
PuzzleConnect is located at 2145 State Route 35 in Holmdel in the Kohl’s shopping center. We are in the courtyard next to Villa Pizzeria and Flynn O’Hara.
Escape rooms are live events and will start promptly at the time you book for. Please arrive 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled reservation to prevent any loss of game time.
